CHEMICALS TO AVOID

Dimethicone (Polydimethylsiloxane)

  • Interferes with the skin’s natural ability to eliminate toxins, impairing cell development. 

  • Not biodegradable, accumulates in aquatic organisms and the environment.

  • Influences neurotransmitters in the nervous system.

Mineral oil (petroleum, paraffin oil)

  • By-product from the distillation of petroleum to produce gasoline.

Parabens (methylparabens, propylparabens, butylparabens, and ethylparabens)
